This is a controversial one. Stronghold's strategy involves co-locating its crypt mines at old coal plants and converts waste coal into energy to power its operations. We categorize Stronghold's waste coal facilities as 100% non-carbon because the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) classifies waste coal as a "Tier II Alternative Energy" on par with hydroelectric power.
